South African Retail Sector gets a Boost at Gallagher

The widest range of wholesale gifts, toys and décor that South Africa has to offer was on display at Gallagher Convention Centre for the 2011 SARCDA Christmas show. The largest trade exhibition of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere attracted more than 600 exhibitors at the end of August 2011.

Decorex goes from Strength to Strength

Some 700 exhibitors and over 53 000 visitors flocked to Gallagher Convention Centre in the beginning of August 2011. The Show took place over five halls that covered over 22 000m2 of exhibition space and featured 75 interest talks and demonstrations, as well as nine pop-up restaurants designed exclusively for the show.

SAITEX and Africa’s Big Seven Facilitate International Trade

Southern African International Trade Exhibition (SAITEX) and Africa’s Big Seven was recently held at Gallagher Convention Centre. With the 2010 World Cup increasing the amount of international visitors to South African shores, international trade has benefited immensely.

‘All Things Bike’ put on ice

Following a decision by the management of Gallagher Convention Centre, the ‘All Things Bike’ (ATB) exhibition and event, which was planned for 18 to 20 February 2011, has been put on ice until further notice.

The Exhibition Association of Southern Africa recently hosted their annual awards ceremony, held at Emperor’s Palace in the East of Johannesburg.
